| Our
recent experience with animals treated with Echinacea and other herbs
has been greater this year as horse breeders find that the common drugs
horses are treated with are becoming very expensive and without much
success in some. Today's drugs are treating the effect not the cause, as we see the same instance happening in human medicine. Slowly some practitioners, vets and horse trainers are turning around to look at alternative ways to treat their friends for an ailment that will work and not cost the earth. |
In Western
Australia last year we sent over 20 kilos of our "HORSEMIX" to
race horse enthusists wanting to try and cure a long chest infection a
horse had for over 12 months. After 3 months on this mix of Echinacea and other herbs, the animal was fully recovered. Sure it didn't work over night !! We worked on building up the Immune system of the horse and the healthiness red blood cell in the animal. This takes time to repair, as we know ourselves when we recover from an illness, our bodies take at least three weeks to repair itself and prepare itself for the next invasion of germs. |
Recently there has
been some interest in south Queensland for Echinacea trailing in the
race horse industry for other ailments of horses, even treating cancer
in some animals. Boosting the immune system has it's benefits to everyone living, and our four legged friends are no different to us. Cancer is very hard to treat in any living thing, it is a fact of life, as the human race gets older and older and slowly interbread, we are degrading as our foods are contaminated with chemicals that are harmful to humans, and animal cells. As our experience increases in treating any living tissue, we will find that the treatment of any disease has to be started at the cause of it, and be carefull not to just treat the effect of the disease. |
